Welcome to #shangiliaskatepark in Nairobi built by #skate-aid. Shangilia skatepark is the biggest skatepark in East Africa located in Shangilia children’s home.
This project started with 0 budget. This project was designed by myself and local artist #SNOW13ART with the fundamental help of the children and the skaters. Our aim was to bring to the children a new form of art to help to develop their creative thinking and skill set. Also to help to develop the skating and the bmx scene in Nairobi and in addition to bring the children’s home a new income to help with their school fees and food.
